When it came out, the Lexus SC400 was considered an aesthetic tour de force...except for the wheels.

Supposedly the designers at Toyota/Lexus were inspired by old-fashioned wooden wagon wheels. How they connected that historical tidbit to their ultramodern luxury cruiser remains unexplained.

Con: Despite vaguely sci-fi architecture, many office parks have material and build quality that rivals your average Brazilian favela; how do you fit a decent grocery store in one?; soul-sucking realization that you're basically going to drive from one office park to another completely dsirupts out the idea of life-work balance.
